Playing at Maritime Museum of San Diego
1492 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, California 92101

One Performance Only, 4 pm May 6th
The Hausmann Quartet and the San Diego Maritime Museum present Haydn Voyages: Music at the Maritime. The third season of the Hausmann Quartet's innovative series on the Berkeley ferry at the Maritime Museum continues on May 6 at 4pm with "Form and Texture."

A pair of Haydn Quartets frames two exquisitely crafted works from our modern era: Philip Glass’ Company (composed in 1983 for a dramatization of Samuel Beckett’s novella of the same name) and Marcos Balter’s Chambers from 2012, described by one critic as “a mesmerizing plunge into icy musical depths...This is a gorgeous piece, well worth hearing again." The singular atmosphere of the Berkeley and San Diego harbor is sure to add to this exciting program.

Regular Price: $25-50 + Fee
ArtsTix price: $15-40 + Fee

As usual, the Hausmann Quartet will be joined by musicologist Derek Katz to provide entertaining and informative commentary on the program, and the upper deck bar opens at 3:30pm. Come join us on board!
