Journey with us to Venice for an evening of recorder music by Vivaldi, Corelli, Marcello, and other Baroque masters. Recorder virtuoso Dorothee Oberlinger, joined by harpsichordist Alexander Puliaev and cellist Marco Testori, demonstrate the evolution of Venetian recorder playing from transcribed song to virtuoso sonata. This concert is part of the 2015-2016 season of the San Diego Early Music Society.
“Oberlinger plays with dazzling virtuosity and sportive caprice which lend charm to each and every one of the pieces.” - BBC Music Magazine
