1983 -Established by Bill Purves, originally the SD Theatre League with 28 members
1986 -Alan Ziter hired as first Executive Director
1986 -Arts Tix and Followspots created
1992 -What's Playing Guide, Business Volunteers for the Arts, and Star Awards established
1993 -KPBS Arts Album started
1999 -BRAVO San Diego 1st Produced (SDPAL a partner for 3 years)
2000- www.sandiegoperforms.com is launched
2001 -NAMP and Lawyers for the Arts established
2002 -OnBoard started
2006 -Membership includes 145 organizations county wide
2008 -New Star Awards model adopted at Balboa Theatre
2010 -www.sdArtsTix.com is launched
2011 -25th Anniversary of Arts Tix booth (2 years at Spreckels Theatre and 23 years in Horton Plaza!)
