How do I buy tickets for a group?
Buy your group tickets by calling 858-381-5595! We can assist you in purchasing group tickets at 50% off!

I am a producer and would like to sell tickets through Arts Tix- How can I do this?

What are the directions to Arts Tix?
ARTS TIX is located in Downtown San Diego at the corner of 3rd Ave and Broadway on Broadway Circle. The booth is located in front of Citibank, across from NBC's street side studio. Parking is validated for three hours in the Horton Plaza Garage. You may enter the parking garage from 4th Ave or G Street.


When can I get tickets?
Ticket availability and discounts are at the discretion of the producing company. Shows are typically available until 2 hours before curtain. All tickets are available at the venue at the ‘will call' location 30 minutes prior to curtain. ARTS TIX online is available 24/7.


Can I get a refund or exchange tickets?

There are no refunds. Limited exchanges are available for $5 processing fee -  exchanges must be for shows of equal or greater value.

What is the service charge?
UPDATED 1/20/11 - ARTS TIX fees range from $1.50 - $10.00 per ticket, depending on ticket price, discounts involved, etc.  This fee is the ARTS TIX admin fee. The money goes directly back to the local arts community through programs offered by the San Diego Performing Arts League. Why aren't the discounted tickets really half price?
Ticket prices vary depending on the offers from the Producing Organization. Fees are added to the ticket price.

How do I know where I am sitting?
Tickets sold through ARTS TIX are assigned by the producing organization / venue.  Best Available seats are the best seats available at the time you purchase the tickets. Discounted tickets are usually assigned after all full-priced and subscription seats have been assigned. For the most part there are no bad seats in San Diego theatres.

How do I pick up my tickets when I buy online?
Tickets will be held at will call at the venue 30 minutes before the event. Your ticket reciept or confirmation email  serves as your proof of purchase. Please bring your ID to the will call - as your tickets will be under your name. Your ID gives you access to your tickets, not your ticket receipt or confirmation email.

Why didn't I get a confirmation screen at the end of my order?
You have a time limit to complete your order (each screen on the ARTS TIX site designates this time limit). If you don't complete your order in that time, the tickets are released and you have to start over again. If your credit card is declined, contact your credit card company.

I got a confirmation screen, but when I got to the box office there weren't any tickets for me.
As a security measure, we verify that the address given on the Internet matches the information on file with your credit card company. If a discrepancy is found, we will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to contact you, YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELED! If your order is canceled, you will not be able to purchase half price tickets at the theatre. Please verify your billing information before placing an order.
