A gripping reimagination of events the night before the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop is an emotional, poetic, and unexpected journey into the heart and mind of a legend. Set in Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel, this award-winning play begins with Dr. King returning from his final speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop,” only to encounter a mysterious hotel worker who forces him to confront his past, his legacy, and his own humanity.

With sharp wit, humor, and a touch of the supernatural, The Mountaintop offers a deeply moving and surprising look at a man whose voice helped shape a movement, but whose vulnerabilities and dreams made him profoundly human.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime theatrical experience that has captivated audiences across the country.

Rated PG-13 for language and adult themes. Run time: Approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
